it would be better if i photoshopped you holding a bong while you're riding. It would also be more realistic |
I can't believe you spelled possessed correctly. A+ |
You let me know when you want to go, I can pretty much go whenever! |
Hey so I guess this is cancelled due to trails being closed for hunting? I'd like to go again around December 6th-7th |
a few things 1-I won't be there at 9am. Probably around 11am or noon 2-Still not 100% sure where it's at 3-does anyone have a legit truck to shuttle with? |
You haven't hit it yet? What bike are you bringing? |
I'll be there thursday finishing things up for this weekend...if someone is there to watch me, I'll hit it then (I don't want to hit it if no one is around to say i did it) |
Sounds good, man. I'm working up the nerve to hit the big drop before saturday |
haha! It took me a second to get the reference to the song, but well done. |
well, the levers it came with suck, so i'd replace them with something nicer. Mine didn't come as single speed, i converted it with a 32-15 gear ratio. |
dude, that's dope. Awesome rig, man |
Yeah, there weren't actually any photos of him. I copied this from a video. |
It's sunk almost 2 feet into the ground, when you have a five foot post straight up in the air it will always be a bit shaky. Plus...it's built on a hillside, how else would it stand? |
we hit it today, it was pretty shaky the first few times. Landing needs to be re-inforced and possibly widened (only about a foot wide of the landing is rideable). |
got out and rode it today, what a difference from the Travis. I also rode my new maxxis tires...it's honestly like having a completely different bike. |

yeup, I'm just waiting for a 28 tooth chainwheel so the gear ratio isn't so ridiculous, haha |
If this bike makes me a f*g then the sluggo makes you the literal king of queens, OH! haha |
to add to this, specialized is coming out with white lopro mag pedals for 09 |
the Pike is the best thing i've bought for this frame, hands down. obviously it's not as stiff as most dirt jumper forks, but it feels great on this bike. |
oh man, I don't know...I love the specialized pedals...grip my feet almost as though I'm clipped in (especially with a good pair of shoes) |
Sweet man, and mike, I don't think you can talk considering the PHD :-) Haha just kidding but that thing about 490 sounds sweet, when's that going down? |
Haha, now there's a sweet frame to match the travis! |
love the PHD's, super light, super strong, and relatively cheap. |
long/large...Giant recommends it for anyone over 5'8" but I'm 5'9" and it feels great, I honestly think it would fit anyone 5'6" with no problem |
I like it man, combo of two great bikes |
I think the ramp is an old slide, haha...but nice frame! |
